The Wine Wall (at the new Matheson restaurant)

Very cool and no reservations needed (for the wine wall). The new Matheson restaurant has 60+ wines by the glass. You can get either a taste, half glass or full glass. You provide your credit card to the host and they give you a card. This card then works on any of wines by the glass vending machines. Push a button and it dispenses (the wine is kept fresh via argon gas). And they not only have Sonoma wines, but also Napa, French and others. Prices vary - there was a Spanish Tempranillo for $18 a glass or 2007 Lokoya Napa cult cab for $190/glass.

This boutique farmstand in the middle of Dry Creek Valley is a classic.  From Memorial Day to Labor Day definitely visit to taste amazingly fresh peaches. Just lovely.

Order a "Dan Dinner"

One of our favorite local caterers does a take-out dinner most Friday nights.  A true locals secret. The dinners change every time, taste great and are plentiful.  He used to do monthly get-togethers with hundreds of locals but then pandemic hit.  He went to this take-out model and it has been so successful, he has stuck with it.  We order it every Friday it is available.
